I became interested in wire wrapping and jewellery making a few years ago when I was thinking of artistic and unique ways to keep or display my crystals and gemstones. The thought of adding crystals and gems to my holistic wellness line had always been playing around in my mind, and eventually I started actively buying gemstones in January 2022 leading up to me starting AURA in the same year.
The Green Butterfly Market gave me the perfect opportunity to start exploring the market and selling my pieces. Just like any business it was quite shaky at first with me not yet understanding who my ideal customer is and what they wanted. I experimented with various products and styles with each pop up market until I began to get a grasp on my direction.
With AURA every piece is one of a kind, allowing you to either wear or display your crystals in a unique way. I love to use Copper as it greatly enhances the energy of the crystals and is very good for your health. I also love to use Silver and occasionally use gold wire and rose gold.

In the meantime if you are in Accra you can catch me at the Green Butterfly Market at the Department of Parks and Gardens in Cantonments next to the Italian Embassy and opposite the DVLA head office. The Market happens every first and third Saturday of the month and entry is free. When you walk in to the market, keep going straight until you arrive at the central Bamboo section where I am located. Hope to see you there!
