Understanding the power of the moon and it’s strong connection to earth and her oceans is key to unlocking the secret of energetic harmony and balance. The moon carries an ancient energy that we can all tap into, given its strong relationship with earth and everything she comes with.
A full moon symbolizes our coming full circle. It is a time to take stock of situations in our lives, to set new intentions, to meditate, to declare new mantras, and to set out new goals for ourselves as we enter the new moon phase.
This is a good time to do some journaling as well to help us work out our thoughts, feelings, goals, achievements, and whatever we wish to document during this time. Flower baths, herbal baths, and full moon rituals are always beneficial, however be careful not to prepare moon water under this full moon 24th/March. The reason being that there is also an eclipse supposed to be happening during this full moon and it is not advisable to make moon water during an eclipse.
I would use this special energy more towards stepping into a new level in my life and declaring an end to old patterns that no longer serve me. Do you feel it is time to say goodbye to old habits and behaviors that no longer serve your highest good? This is the time to meditate and pray to be free of anything that is holding you down. Burn some sage and incense around you and keep some of your favourite crystals close by. Do some cleaning and work on de-cluttering your space. This exercise clears up not just your physical space but also helps you in de-cluttering your mental space.
Need a ritual to help you process your new beginning? Here is a simple one for you:
1. Clean your space and create a beautiful spot for yourself to sit and to work on your ritual.
2. Burn your favourite incense, sage, Rosemary, Basil or whatever herbs you love and that are good for you. Light a candle if you have some, preferably a white candle. Get a small glass jar or container and smudge it with the incense smoke. You can put in a crystal that is close to your heart.
3. Write down all the habits you are getting rid of, and the behaviour you wish to do away with. On another piece of paper write down your intentions and the new things you wish to incorporate in your life in order to raise your vibration.
4. Meditate, hum, sing, cry if you feel like crying as going deep into yourself might bring up some emotions.
5.Once you have settled, take the paper on which you wrote your old patterns on, and set it on fire. Burn it as a symbol of your desire to do away with those behaviours.
6. Now it’s time to prepare your Wishing jar. Take your container (the one I mentioned earlier, in which you can also add some crystals and dried flowers. You should have also smudge the jar or container with some incense. Read out your new affirmations one more time before folding the paper and placing it into the container and closing it. Place this container somewhere you can see it often, to remind you of your new affirmations.
You may also play some soft healing music or go out into nature to heal and nurture your spirit.
Namaste. 💖
