
Spending time at the ocean is a well known way of relieving stress and achieving calmness within mind, body and spirit. Personally, given the opportunity, I would visit the ocean as often as I possibly could, and the last three days my family and I spent by the ocean motivated me to write this post.
One of the first things you would notice upon arriving at the seaside is the ocean breeze and how relaxed it makes you feel. At certain times of day, the sea breeze can be used for aura cleansing and spiritual wind baths, not to mention, it’s a great location for the kids to fly their kites. 😊
Salt water has a healing effect on the body, helping to remove toxins and impurities both physically and energetically. Taking a salt bath with clearly outlined intentions helps to strengthen our aura and to manifest both physical and spiritual well being. The ocean has been said to remove the effects of radiation as well.
Rich in natural minerals like magnesium, potassium, and calcium, sea water is highly beneficial for the skin therefore taking a good dip in the ocean is like a natural spa treatment offering you the goodness of all the minerals that the ocean has to offer.
Breathing in the fresh salty air of the ocean is also known to improve respiratory health. The salty sea breeze is charged with negative ions, therefore improving lung capacity and increasing oxygen absorption. These ions can help clear the airways and to ease the symptoms of asthma and allergies.
Overall, an extended visit to the serene seaside could easily feel like spa therapy, lowering blood pressure and reducing stress, leaving you feeling much more relaxed with a lot more mental clarity.
