After the full moon comes the waning Gibbous moon phase. On 22nd June we had the “strawberry moon”, and as we enter the waning Gibbous moon phase, we enter a period of deep introspection and letting go of old patterns.
The waning Gibbous moon occurs immediately after the full moon. During this phase the moon is shrinking and its illumination is only visible on its right side. Spiritually, this symbolizes a time of release and letting go of old patterns. This moon phase is a time to be grateful for everything we have been through, even our mistakes. It is a time to be grateful for all the lessons learned so far, even from bad choices and bad decisions. Meditation and self introspection allows for release and acceptance, and a chance to let go of everything that no longer serves our highest good.

Usually at dawn, the waning Gibbous moon is still visible. Meditation during these hours gives a deep connection with the moon’s energy at a time that represents renewal and a start to our new day.
Crystals recommended for use during a waning Gibbous moon are Black Tourmaline and Smoky Quartz for grounding, repelling negative energy and helping to break old unhealthy patterns. Keep these crystals around you during meditation, or wear them to tap into their energy.
Affirmation: I will not be stuck within old patterns. I am grateful for all the lessons I have learned, even from my mistakes. I am ready to let go of anything that no longer serves me. I release all negativity and accept new positives in my life.
